Hello! My roommate is moving to Jersey in sometime in late August and I'm looking for someone to fill her spot in our 2B2B condo in downtown Palo Alto (move in date is flexible! Sometime in late August/early Sept.)
The apartment is in a gated condo complex with a gated and covered parking spot, and locked mail room. The landlord pays the HOA fees, water, sewage, and gas, so the only things we pay for are electric and wifi which average to be about $100-$150/mo total. I don't have any pets, but the condo is pet friendly :). The kitchen and living room are furnished, but the bedroom will be unfurnished (my roommate may be willing to sell some of her furniture upon request)
Everything in the unit is new and renovated except the oven. Brand new fridge, electric stove top, dishwasher, and washer/dryer which were all updated last June. Hardwood floors and a breakfast nook which get tons of light. The unit is less than a 3 min. walk to the Caltrain station and a 5 min walk to the stores on University Ave. Easily bikeable to Stanford campus or the med school.
The room available is the smaller room in the condo, facing the interior of the building. It has enough room for a queen bed + desk. The bathroom is en suite to the bedroom and the washer/dryer for the condo is located inside the bathroom. Pictures for everything available on request!
About me: 24F working in biotech. I work in office everyday so you'll have the place to yourself during the day if you're WFH! I love rock climbing, hiking, making playlists, and exploring SF on the weekends. I also love the occasional episode of trashy reality TV after work. I'm a friendly person, and enjoy being able to share common spaces with a roommate. I like keeping the living room/kitchen tidy and will do a deeper clean maybe once every month or two(vacuum/mop etc.). Email me for pictures or if you have any questions!
