Reposting for hopefully the last time - my roommate needed more time to finish her dissertation and couldn't move in time, unfortunately!
Looking for a housemate for a 3bd/2ba in the Dogpatch, in SF, near UCSF Mission Bay. The room is $1500/month + utilities, for a year-long lease (till August 2024), and comes furnished.
The apartment is located in The Gantry in the north end of the Dogpatch, very close to UCSF Mission Bay.
About the apartment:
-In-unit washer & dryer
-Full kitchen: We have a nice set of new appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, air fryer, and a pretty fantastic coffee machine (my pride and joy!)
-Luxury apartment building: The building is newly built and has a gym, roof deck with community garden, security system, and parking garage (additional cost per car/month). There’s a double-key system to get into the building and it’s very safe. The front desk folks are super kind and there is a wonderful handyman (Byron!) who is available to help fix any apartment issues. Overall, the apartment is clean and quiet, with friendly neighbors.
-Pet-friendly: Cats and dogs welcome! There are so many dogs and dog parks nearby (including a mini grass-patch on the roof!)
About the neighborhood:
-Perfect location: 10 minute walk to the Caltrain (22nd Street), easy access to the 101/280 highways (< 5 minutes driving), and the Muni T line to Chinatown/Downtown/FiDi. It’s pretty ideal for commuting if you frequently go Downtown or to South Bay for work! We are known as the “sunniest neighborhood in SF” but it never gets too hot since it’s close to the water :)
-Beautiful neighborhood: We have Crane Cove Beach behind the building, and there are many cute coffee shops (Farley’s, Philz), restaurants (Plow, Wooly Pig), breweries (Harmonic, Olfactory) and bars (Third Rail, Sea Star, Dogpatch Saloon) just within walking distance. We are also close to Dogpatch Boulders if you like to climb, and Neighbor Bakehouse if you like to eat!
