About the Session
6-8th Grade TinkerCad Arduino Intro Session - 2 hours
Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023 @ 10-12pm in-person in SF (Hayes Valley Neighborhood)

What is TinkerCad?
TinkerCad is a free web based platform for 3D design, electronics, and coding created by Autodesk to model real-world design tools for students.

Students will be introduced to TinkerCad and familiarize themselves with the tool during this session and learn to create and simulate basic circuits. This is the first session of a series with TinkerCad and Arduinos.

- Classes are maximum 6 students.
- Students need to bring their own chromebook or laptops. Wifi available.

About Me
Hi, I’m Ms. Kim! I received my bachelors in science at Cal and taught HS chemistry and computer science in the Bay Area for 6 years as a credentialed teacher. I also recently finished my education technology masters at Stanford this past year. I currently train teachers on using various STEAM and technology tools.

I also have extensive experience supporting students with IEPs and building scaffolded curriculum for all learners.
