Hello my name is Jordan and I have been playing drums for about 11 years. I have played professionally in a metal, reggae and R&B band. I currently teach at School Of Rock and I have over 45 students that I teach weekly. I have also worked at Bach to rock as a music director, bass and drum instructor. Before working as a private music instructor I worked as a behavioral one on one aid and teacher’s assistant at a special needs school. I worked with kids on all levels of the autism spectrum and I have also worked with emotionally disturbed teenagers.
I can teach absolute beginners up to upper intermediate players. I teach theory, technique, sight reading, drum rudiments and how to play your favorite songs! I enjoy all genres of music and I love to teach music that my students are passionate about. I want you to be inspired about what you are learning so you are motivated to practice and get better.
I offer one hour at home lessons where I can give you all the tools to become a better musician but it’s up to you to apply the teachings at least 20 min a day so you can see the progress that you want to see.
I have an electronic drum set that I can bring to the lessons if you don’t have a drum set to play on or if we need another drum set so we can play side by side. I am available Sundays and Mondays. Book now! I Look forward to meeting you!
