The sublet is from December 2023 to June 30th 2024 (7 months) with some flexibility. The room is the downstairs master bedroom with a huge private bath and walk-in closet. Its only 1400$/month + utilities (~150/month), rooms of similar location and size will run you something like 2400 for real. The room comes furnished with a bed, sofa couch, two desks, and multiple plants I would like to keep alive while I am gone. Option for other items too if desired (heater, AC, etc).
The room is extremely spacious with big arched windows overlooking a nature preserve. Main bedroom ~ 15'x19', bathroom ~8'x14' with large shower, walk in closet 4'x4' + 4 additional closets for storage. The house is a 5-minute walk from Byrne Nature Preserve, a 10-minute walk (2-minute drive) from Foothills nature preserve, a 5-minute drive from the 280 freeway, and a 15-minute drive from Stanford Campus. It's in the prettiest part of the peninsula hands down. The house has a large modern kitchen, a pool, and a terrace which overlooks the nature preserve. Private parking on site. The house is shared with 5 other people, but it does not feel crowded at all and the housemates are great (3 Stanford MD/PhD and 2 techies).
