We are subletting a room with a private bathroom in our gorgeous apartment in downtown Palo Alto from January 2024.

The place has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has lots of natural light, a pool for the building, a cozy balcony facing the trees, and a nice open-space dining and lounge area with a TV. It's just off University Avenue, and is approx. 10 minute cycle to campus, 3 min cycle to the Caltrain station, and 5 min walk to Blue Bottle café.

The room will be available from January (01/21/24 would be ideal for the current roommate, but it is also possible to rent from the beginning of the winter quarter) until mid March at minimum, possibly with an opportunity for a longer stay. Rent is $1800 per month plus potential utilities. You will be sharing the flat with Florian and his girlfriend Rebecca (once she returns from Germany). Florian finished his MBA at Stanford earlier this year and now works in a climate tech startup, Rebecca just finished a research internship at a big tech company and is now back in Germany to finish her PhD in digital economics.

The place is fully furnished and stocked with things like crockery and cookware. There is no parking space with the apartment but there is space on the street for parking. There is a washer/dryer unit for the building.

If you are interested, please contact Florian via email (fbdahl@stanford.edu). We'd love to learn more about you, get to know you and show you the place if it could be a fit for both sides.
