About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UX/UI Designer that is versatile and passionate about taking on new problems to push technology forward. As a sole designer of a small team we invite you to use your passion to join us in creating our fast-iterating and very innovative product that brings brand-new experiences to social networking. We expect that you will take fully dedicated ownership of your assignments and lead them to successful conclusion in a timely manner. We embrace rapid design cycles with constructive discussions to accelerate our path to success. You should be comfortable conducting research, identifying targeted users to talk to to validate design hypothesis among other design-related work.

As a UI/UX Designer, you'll work with PM, Engineering and CEO in a challenging, fast-paced environment, helping to bring best ideas into product design and production execution. You’ll demonstrate your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user facing technologies to enable efficient, high quality execution.

User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs and behaviors to gather insights that inform product strategy and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• A professional portfolio that demonstrates your UI/UX capabilities, creativity, and problem-solving
• Proficiency in responsive web design. Mobile is a big plus.
• A strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture
• Proficient with industry standard programs (we are currently using Figma)
• UI/UX design experience, with a focus on 2C products; familiarity or past experience with social media or social networking products a huge plus
• Familiarity or experience with generative AI tools, stable diffusion applications, prompt engineering a huge plus

The office is in Downtown Mountain View and we require at least two days in office per week in a hybrid schedule.
