Hello everyone!
I'm currently pursuing my master's at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. From March 8th to July 8th, 2024, I will be at Stanford University working on my Master's Thesis in Computational Geomechanics as a VSR.
I am looking for a place that is not excessively far from campus (it should be within walking or biking distance) during this period, ideally for a rental around $1’000/month (though I'm flexible). I would prefer to share a flat with nice and clean flatmates. The closer to Stanford and the more budget-friendly, the better.
A little about me: I'm 25 years old, originally from Lugano, Switzerland with Egyptian roots. I am studying Civil Engineering with a keen interest in Geotechnics and Geomechanics. I speak fluently English, Italian, French and Arabic and a little bit of Spanish.
Beyond academia, I find joy in sports activities, ranging from hiking and soccer to snowboarding and surfing. I'm a sunny person and love socializing and meet new people.
Oh, and I forgot to mention - I am a stellar flatmate!
