GuRu has a focused RF team and is looking for passionate microwave and antenna engineers with expertise in implementing cutting edge mm-wave circuits. As a microwave engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing MMIC building blocks, antennas and managing EMI.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and design active and passive MMIC such as amplifiers, filters, impedance matches, and directional couplers using simulation software, IC and PCB layout tools
• Develop and design antenna and active radiative structures
• Layout and test printed circuit boards and integrate designs into GuRu’s system
• Collaborate with digital hardware and system designers
• Report on your work and communicate
• Work with team leaders to execute successfully
Necessary qualifications:
• M.S. degree in electrical engineering or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience or Ph.D. in RF hardware and/or microwave engineering
• Strong background in RF, EMI, and EM designs
• Experience with tools such as ADS, HFSS, etc
• Deep familiarity with RF measurement systems, such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, etc
• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass background checks
Preferred qualifications:
• Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or related fields
• Excellent understanding of basic RF blocks such as power and low-noise amplifiers, mixers and frequency synthesizers
• Experience in RFIC design, front- and back-end verification
• Deep understanding of RF system architectures and designs
• Familiarity with automated test design and equipment
• Experience in wireless power transfer
