Hello!
I am a Stanford rheumatology fellow (MD trainee) vacating a wonderful cottage in Atherton. I have loved living in this spacious, fully-furnished, standalone studio/1br. (There are discrete living spaces, but no interior walls.) Cottage has washer/dryer, a/c, large windows, tile floors, skylights, attached private patio, and includes high-speed wireless and all other utilities. If I weren't moving in with my partner, I would never leave!
The main house is occupied by a responsive and respectful female landlord (retired from tech) with two sweet Tibetan Terrier puppies and an adult daughter who lives in SF. Previous renter stayed for 5+ years and left for graduate school. I have a 17 minute bike ride (quiet streets) or 9 minute drive to Stanford's campus.
Move in date is flexible. The landlord is open to either completion of my lease term (through end of June '24) or the start a new lease.
See a few photos, attached. (And please excuse the cardboard boxes—I snapped these while I was moving in!)
Tell me a little about yourself in your reply! She keeps the apartment well under market rate, but wants to be sure it's a good fit. Thanks for reading!
