• Salary: Pay is $75-$90 depending on experience and client needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges. Use tools to make accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Work with clients to set goals and plan treatments.
• Treatment and Counseling: Provide therapy for various mental health issues using proven methods. Use different techniques to help clients cope and make positive changes. Offer immediate support during crises or emergencies.
• Case Management and Advocacy: Help clients access resources and services for their needs. Advocate for clients' rights and better mental health care. Coordinate with other groups for systemic improvements.
• Education and Prevention: Teach clients and families about mental health and coping strategies. Organize events to raise awareness and prevent mental health problems.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Keep detailed, confidential records of client information and progress. Complete paperwork accurately for billing and legal purposes.
