Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assessment Administration: Conduct various psychological assessments with clients, like cognitive and personality tests, using standard procedures.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze client data from assessments, interviews, and observations to help form accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Treatment Planning: Work with licensed psychologists and team members to create personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Assist in applying therapeutic methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, under supervision, to help clients with mental health issues.
• Client Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to clients during therapy sessions, aiding in the development of coping skills for mental health challenges.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including assessment outcomes and treatment plans, following legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and positive client outcomes.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in psychology through ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Ethical Practice: Follow ethical guidelines from relevant regulatory bodies like the American Psychological Association (APA) to uphold professional standards.
