Responsibilities and Duties:
• Patient Evaluation and Management: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, exams, and tests as needed. Work with doctors to create treatment plans and prescribe medications. Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and prevention.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform procedures like suturing, wound care, and casting. Help in minor surgeries and other interventions under supervision. Interpret diagnostic tests such as lab results and EKGs.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff for comprehensive care. Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing support and answering questions. Keep detailed records of patient visits and treatments.
• Continuing Education and Professional Development: Stay updated on medical advancements through ongoing education. Engage in meetings and quality improvement efforts for better patient care.
