On Saturday Feb 24 we are hosting Scott & Elyse for a Contemporary Tango Concert!
About the Artists:
Oakland-based guitarist and arranger Scott O’Day is a member of the contemporary tango music scene. He is the artistic director of the acclaimed Scott O’Day Tango Trio. Regularly performing worldwide, he is also the director of the San Francisco Community Music Center Tango Ensemble, which serves as an incubator program for the Bay Area tango music scene.
Elyse Weakley has taken part in a wide array of musical projects and has served in many roles including music director, pianist, educator, and composer. She has collaborated directly with composers and songwriters in recording and presenting their music as a soloist and collaborator including Mason Bates, George Hurd, and Charles Gorczynski.

We will play a mix of golden age and alternate tango tunes as you dance, sip tea, enjoy art and empanadas. We have two rooms available for dancing.
