Hey all. I'm subletting my room in a two-bedroom apartment, located just a few blocks from downtown Palo Alto. 5 minute walk to Palo Alto Caltrain Station. 30 minute walk to Stanford campus.
I'll be back home in Canada for a little while, so I'm looking to sublet from about March 15th to May 31st. Dates are a bit flexible, as I'm planning to head out on March 15th, and should be returning in early June. Price is 1700$ and that includes utilities and internet.
The apartment as a whole has a full kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of cookware etc. that you are free to use, a common area, a dining room, and a bathroom. Washer and dryer just down the back steps (requires quarters). We have a parking space too. Lots of books around (I'm a grad student in English), a projector, movies, etc.
The room itself is furnished with a bed and a desk, a display monitor you can hook up your computer too, books. I'll move out some of my stuff to give you room to store your clothes etc.
Super close to downtown Palo Alto (bars, restaurants, movie theatres, pharmacies etc.) 15-20 minutes walking distance to Safeway, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods.
The other occupant in the apartment is a 24 year old male, works for a tech company in Milpitas, friendly and outgoing, loves playing trivia at the local bar every Tuesday night, swears that pickleball is fun and plays regularly.
