We are seeking a motivated, organized, and energized Marketing Associate to help drive Next Legacy’s events,
marketing, and communication strategies. Our network is incredibly diverse and unique, made up of venture capitalists,
founders, philanthropists, professional athletes, and other thought leaders. We are constantly finding ways to “crosspollinate” our dynamic network through events and other forms of engagement for the benefit of all, and we are incredibly excited to add a member to our team to further drive results.
This is a small team, and you will wear many hats. You must have keen attention to detail, exceptional communication
skills, and a “can-do” attitude. The ideal candidate is a creative, iterative, and intelligent self-starter with a positive
problem-solving approach, the ability to prioritize, and the willingness to be flexible. It is paramount that this individual can
work both independently and collaboratively across teams within our organization and can synthesize various forms of
feedback and efficiently drive projects forward.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and develop branded content and creative assets in a range of different formats, from emails, to website graphics, presentations, one-pagers, posters, and more
• Identify ways that we can enhance marketing and communication strategies across the firm and its collateral, ensuring all teams are cohesively using our brand and maximizing its value
• Create and own various strategic marketing initiatives to showcase our diverse, amazing network using existing, underutilized mediums (blog, podcast, social channels) and via the creation of new content
• Own all social media responsibilities and drive engagement throughout our network via social channels
• Execute event marketing programs for a range of audiences and varieties including happy hours, dinners, content-focused conferences, summits, team offsites, and Limited Partner events
• As part of the events team, you will help execute all event logistics with unparalleled attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years in event planning and/or leading marketing and communications projects
• Experience managing outside partners, vendors, and agencies
• Proven ability to prioritize and execute responsibilities with little guidance
• Available to attend occasional weeknight and weekend events
• Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area or be willing to relocate as this position is based in Palo Alto
(conveniently located one block from Caltrain with parking provided if needed)
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Airtable, Asana, PowerPoint and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree required
