About me:
My name is Dr. Nick Virzi. I am a professional musician and teacher with a doctorate in music from Stanford University. I was on the faculty in the Department of Music and Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford for several years, where I still teach classes on occasion. I am based in New York City and offer online lessons to students around the world.
Here are some reasons why I might be the best teacher for you:
• I teach music the way it should be taught - fun, interesting, patient, and without intimidation.
• I teach what YOU want to learn. I have expertise in a wide variety of skills and enjoy learning more to meet the goals of my students.
