My current roommate is graduating and the bedroom will become available in June of 2024. The move in date is somewhat flexible. I am partial to Stanford graduate students/post docs who plan to stay for 1 year+.
The rent is 1525/month, and includes a covered parking spot. The available bedroom is the one pictured; keeping some of the furniture can be negotiated. The rest of the apartment is furnished. Utilities and Internet are not included. There is outdoor storage and access to a pool, as well as in building laundry (not free).
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the California avenue caltrain station. It is a 10 minute walk from a Marguerite shuttle stop, which will take you pretty much anywhere on Stanford campus for free. It is a 5-10 minute bike ride away from central campus, and has locked bike parking areas.
I would be your roommate, a woman, PhD candidate in Physics in her 4th year, originally from Montreal, Canada. I love cooking, baking, board games, arts and crafts and am generally very easy going. I would love to meet in person or over Zoom if you are interested! We would also share the place with Fletcher, a six year old rescue orange cat. He is very cuddly and friendly, and can get chatty around meal times.
