We have an opening in our home for someone interested in sharing a large house with 4 other busy roommates in Redwood City. It's a 5-room house and this time we are looking to rent out the master suite. It's not an average suite. It's quite large, with a private entrance, high ceilings, and a huge bathroom with showers and a tub.
We are looking for someone clean, able to contribute to the house chores (taking turns taking the garbage out), cleans after themselves, does not work from home, and is friendly towards others. No late-night cooking or noise from M-Th. past 11pm. There should be no drama if you follow those simple rules.
We all mind our businesses and eventually meet in the common areas for a meal or a movie.
The common areas include a large kitchen with two sinks (one on a bay), a dining room, and three living rooms. There's a large patio in the backyard with some outside furniture and a table, perfect for studying, small gatherings or simply relaxing. One of the roommates enjoys barbecuing.
Utilities vary depending on usage and time of the year and it usually falls between 150-270 per month per person. As I mentioned, it is a large house.
