Looking for a roommate to share a 2BR 1BA apartment in Redwood City!

About the Apartment:
The apartment has been recently remodeled with wooden floors in both the living room and the vacant room. It’s pretty spacious for 2 people, plenty of storage space, all all-stainless kitchen appliances (microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range, garbage disposal), and a large balcony. It’s conveniently located within a 10-minute walk to Downtown and the Caltrain station. There is the possibility to have a covered parking spot for 75$ per month.
The room can come either unfurnished or furnished (as shown in the pictures).

Rent: $1400 + bills (around $80/130 per month including 10Gb/s internet, gas, electricity, water, garbage and sewer services)
Move-in Date: Flexible (room is already available) but before the end of June 2024.

About Me:
I'm a male in my late 30s, I work in tech (formerly at Stanford), and I go to the office 3 days a week. I have an active lifestyle and spend most of my free time outdoor or playing sports.

I'm looking for a roommate who is responsible, respectful, and clean. Ideally someone who enjoys occasional chats and building a normal/friendly relationship, but also values independent living.
Looking for someone to sign a 12-month lease. There is a $50 one-time fee for background checks to pay to the property management. First month and a $1400 deposit are required upon moving in.

If you think you can be a good fit, send me a message (see craigslist add)! Please include a little bit about yourself and your hobbies in your response.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
