Hello all, a vacancy has popped up in our ranch in the hills, a quiet retreat from the noise and close enough to the action that it's kept us sane and productive year after year.

Seemingly always undergoing projects (lawn & garden at the moment) but a great family home that we've adopted and cared for, we're on 1.3 acres with views of and direct access to Rancho San Antonio open space. 2m to foothills college, 15 to Stanford, we're 3m off of the El Monte exit on 280, sheltered nicely from the road noise.

House is a 4bed, 3bath, with a beautiful backyard overlooking the forest with a saltwater pool and wisteria-covered patio that is getting ready to bloom if you want to catch the color, bees, and aroma. The room in question is 160sqft with a shared bath that was recently remodeled. Room has fresh paint as of last summer.

We are engineers and techies in the medical device space, Stanford genetics research, etc. Sadie lives here, a 6month old lab/collie mix (we think?), and my gf's 2 dogs hang out occasionally (Phyllis, a wire-haired terrier and Andy, a border collie/dachsund). More are always welcome, I dog sit frequently for friends.

It's not a mansion, but a cozy spot to retreat from the noise in beautiful slice of the south bay. Your neighbors may include a local judge, the real life Richard Hendricks and another CEO or two. Day-to-day, the neighbors are deer, bobcats, turkeys and raptors. We are, again, animal fanatics and you'd be welcome to bring a dog with you. The property has two feral cats (they're quite domesticated, purchased by the landlady years ago, so we keep feeding them) but we do have an allergy- and toxoplasmosis-induced aversion to house cats (sorry!).

Rent for the center room is 1950 plus utilities, billed as they come and split 4 ways. Ready for move-in when you are!.
Holler with questions and happy hunting!
