I’m looking for someone to take over my lease this summer, moving in by June 10 through August 31. There would also be an option to renew for the upcoming academic year, if that’s of interest. The apartment is a 2 Bed / 2 Bath, so you would have your own bathroom. Rent is $1625/month. Utilities + WiFi come to around $50-100 per month (split by 2 for a single roommate).
The apartment is quite spacious. It has a balcony, dishwasher, air conditioning unit. I attached some pics of the unfurnished apartment, though now there is some furniture in the living room and kitchen area (e.g. couch, TV, dining table, patio furniture, etc). You would also get your own covered parking spot, if you or any guests have a car.
The surrounding area is pretty quiet and feels very safe (something that was important to me and my roommate as single females). It’s in a nice area, walking distance from Cal Ave and Birch St with nice music events on the weekends, coffee shops, restaurants, the Sunday Farmer’s market. Entrance to the highway is nearby. Public transit is also nearby, with a Caltrain stop and a bus stop ~5 min walk away. Stanford campus is ~10 min bike ride depending on where you are.
You would be sharing the apartment with Chiara, an incredibly sweet and friendly Stanford postdoc. She is a very considerate roommate and is super fun to chat and hang out with :)
What we are looking for: A clean, social, easy-going roommate. We would have a preference for a single, female roommate, but a couple who is considerate of the space would be okay too.
