Hi! We are looking for a female housemate for our house on Loma Verde Ave. in Palo Alto. The 1-year lease begins July 1; rent is $1700 + utilities. No subleases please!
The house:
-Sunny and friendly with a beautiful yard/garden space
-Your room has really nice built in shelves/closet and shares a bath with Clare (who lives across the hall)
-All common areas are fully furnished, with the option to purchase the current bedroom furniture
-There is an ADU in the backyard with a male tenant (late 20s, really nice). We share a shed/bike storage/laundry space with him but he does not come into the actual house
-Free/unlimited street parking for you and any friends who come by
-15min drive/22min bike to Stanford

The roommates (Jen and Clare):
-Both mid-20s and work at Stanford
-Our roommate style: friendly, social, and communicative. We hang out in the evenings, share some groceries, occasionally go out for dinner/dessert, etc.
-We both enjoy hosting friends and guests but are not party-throwers
-Jen has 2 dogs and Clare has a cat—all 3 are friendly and love attention :) We are unable to add any additional pets to the lease, sorry!
Signs you could be a good fit!
-Your main method of transportation is car/bike (we live in a public transit desert…)
-You are happy to have pets in common areas of the house—the dogs stay in Jen’s room when she is not home but the cat tends to wander around. You’re welcome to shut your bedroom door and keep your personal space pet-free
-You want to be friends with your roommates and are communicative about the ins and outs of living together
