I am looking for someone to take over my room in a spacious 2Bed-1Bath apartment in Mountain View tentatively from 1 August, 2024 onward (dates are somewhat flexible). The apartment is located in Glenwood Garden Apartments - a gated housing complex - 7-8 min walking distance (3-4 min biking) from Mountain View Train Station and about 10 min walking distance from the vibrant Castro St. The lease is month-to-month (yearly is possible too) and individual share of the rent is approximately $1135. The utilities (water, trash, electricity, internet) cost come at ~$120-$150 per person per month. We will ask you to pay a security deposit of $1000 which will be refunded when you move out.
The following are available for you in the apartment complex:
- 1 Parking spot )shaded)
- Swimming pool
- Laundry room
You can use my bed, table, chair and other pieces of furniture but I will ask a reasonable price for those.
The other tenant is a 33 year old Indian male working as a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Chemistry, Stanford University. He is a vegetarian, loves cooking, clean, maintains good personal hygiene and extremely kind and friendly person. He will strongly prefer to have a vegetarian Indian person person as a future house-mate but exceptions can be made.
