Hello!
We are a house of three Stanford affiliates, looking for a fourth roommate to join us for a yearlong lease beginning on September 1 (firm start date).

The rent for the available room is $1,750. Utilities are generally ~$50/person/month – it depends on the month (e.g. AC for heat wave) though we try to keep it low as a house!
Please note that the room will not be furnished at the time of the start date.
The house is 4 bed/3 bath. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are already taken. The third bathroom is shared between two of the remaining bedrooms. You will be joining me in sharing that bathroom! I am extremely tidy and am very happy to work out a regular, shared cleaning schedule.
The house is a 15-20 minute bike ride to and from campus through beautiful residential and trail paths.
The house is incredibly spacious and well lit. And it includes the following features:
- Central air/heating
- In unit washer, dryer, dishwasher
- Garage
- Large backyard and deck (separated from the living room by large, sliding glass doors) with a beautiful garden that is maintained by the landlord
- Beautiful front yard, also maintained by landlord
Here’s a bit about the three of us who are currently staying at 4120. We have lived together for the past year:
- Roommate 1 (Me): third year PhD candidate in anthropology. Love to keep our shared spaces extremely tidy and welcoming. Host friends occasionally for dinners. And enjoy lifting!
- Roommate 2: MS student in Biomedical Data Science. Worked previously as software engineer and will be working on a startup idea. Trying to cook more (planning a quarterly potluck/hangout of sorts), play more basketball, and garden a bit. Been on a wacky Stanford adventure and have lots of opinions on things. Mostly keep to myself but happy to chat whenever!
- Roommate 3: Postdoc in math. Work from home occasionally but often am on campus during work hours. In evenings/on weekends enjoy running, rock climbing, cooking, reading, and various adventures in SF. Always happy to chat or join for activities. Will occasionally play music at reasonable hours.
