Hi! My name is Morgan (m27), and I am a Stanford Postdoc, and I’m looking for a room for 6-months starting in September (or late august) while I work part of my fellowship at SFGH. I can budget up to $1900/month for rent and utilities, but obviously I would prefer to pay less than that.
A little about me as a potential roommate: I am a postdoctoral/clinical fellow, jointly appointed at Stanford and UCSF. I have to work and study most of the time, and so am not really in the habit of having my own friends over, but I do enjoy boardgames/tabletop games with friends when I have the time. I also enjoy building and painting miniatures.
I’m very clean and tidy (Saturday-morning cleaning is a ritual for me), and respectful of others use of common spaces. I try to cook once or twice per week, focusing mostly on vegetarian meals, but I do cook meat every now and then.
I also have a small black cat. She’s admittedly not the most friendly to strangers, but she’s always gotten along well with my former roommates after a little acclimation period. I’ve had bad luck with former roommates cats being aggressive to her, but she was raised with a german shepherd so I expect she’ll get along with most dogs that aren’t aggressive.
Feel free to reach out if you have a space open and you think I’d be a good fit for your apartment. Thanks!
