We are a house of Stanford affiliates searching for new roommates for this coming year. We expect to be 5-6 in total among 5 rooms in a large house.
The House:
- 2750 sq. ft. home with open common spaces and spacious modern kitchen
- 3-car garage used for bike/gear/surfboard storage and project space
- Large dining room & living room, lots of seating.
- Basement movie room & lounging area.
- Backyard space with outdoor dining area, propane grill, tiered-garden with fruit trees.
- Solar panels which help keep electricity bill low.
The Room:
- Hardwood floor
- Two closets
- Sliding window which opens to backyard
- Access to shared bathroom
- $1550 + utilities

The Location:
- Located on a hill in the quiet neighborhood of Ladera, you are only a ~10-15 minute drive from Stanford, Menlo park and Palo Alto.
- Many hiking / biking / running trails nearby in Portola Valley, community centers, library.
- Bianchini's market, a handful of restaurants, a post office and gas station are located at entrance to neighborhood.
- Alpine Inn just down the road.
The People:
We have historically been a group of Stanford PhDs, postdocs, staff and recent grads who enjoy the outdoors (climbing, skiing, biking, etc), crafting, baking, cooking meals, hosting dinner parties and having the occasional game night. We look forward to continuing these trends and welcoming some new roommates this fall :)
