I am a Stanford postdoc (m) looking for a person to share the apartment (m/w) in my 1300 sqft, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. You would get the master bedroom with attached bathroom w/shower. The cost of $1850 excludes PG&E and WiFi (50$), which we split. I stayed within the house for the last 2 years, and my current roommate is moving back to Europe. The apartment is a spacious second floor unit in Menlo Park (270 Waverley St, about a 15-20 minute bike ride from Stanford), with a large deck and covered parking spot (which is unused).

I am looking for a person that is clean, does not plan parties in the house and not only works from home. Pets are not allowed in the apartment.

There is onsite laundry and an additional storage unit next to your parking spot (which I do not use). My roommate will be moving out at the end of September, so the apartment will be available from October 1st 2024 and I plan to stay in it till end of February 2025, with the potential to sign your own year long lease.
