Hello! I'm a working professional in international development looking for a roommate to share a 2 bedroom apartment in Sunnyvale for a 12-month lease through August 4th, 2025, with option to extend. I'm clean, easygoing and work remotely from home full time. I’m open to all (particularly if you like raising houseplants!) but keep to myself a lot when home. I'm also happy to hang out/go for walks/cook together. I don't have pets, but am open to them. Ideally, I’d like to find another working professional who will contribute to the household and engage from time to time, but is also independent.

The unit is a spacious master bedroom with attached bathroom, located in a safe complex in Sunnyvale (Avalon Silicon Valley). Base rent is 2118$ a month with utilities (water, sewer, trash) averaging about 100-120$ extra per month. In addition, costs for electricity, internet and renter's insurance are split evenly, ranging from 100-150$ each per month. There’s an in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher and central ac/heating.

Complex is located near Highway 101, a 10 minute drive to Sunnyvale Caltrain, 30 minute walk to Lawrence Caltrain and VTA Line 55 is nearby in case you'll need to commute. Parking spaces are also available in the complex if you drive. Amenities include two pools (one heated), business center, gym w/studio, dog park, etc. You can read more about complex amenities here: https://www.avaloncommunities.com/california/sunnyvale-apartments/avalon-silicon-valley.

First month's rent would be due in early September but you'd be able to move in as soon as late August if need be.
