1bed 1private bath for rent inside 2-story condo (2b2.5bth) in Palo Alto, start date flexible, preferable mid September -- $1900/m

Hi, I am a female researcher working at Stanford (23 year-old female). I am looking to share the 2-story condo with a clean, friendly, and easy-to-communicate female roommate. The start date can be anytime around 9/15, a specific date is flexible. The lease will end on 8/31/2025, with an option to renew for another year. Year-long commitment is strongly preferred, but you can sublet your space if you are away, say during the summer.

- Location: One block away from El Camino Real, but in a SUPER quiet residential area. 15min drive to Stanford (or 20min bike), 4min drive to Grocery Outlet, 6min drive to Target, Safeway, and Wholefoods. Within 15min walk, there are more than 10 restaurants—Walgreens across the road.
- Safety and parking: the condo is located in a gated community and you will have access to a gated underground garage (1 spot for you, another spot for me). You also have private underground storage space that is super safe and spacious.
- Space: The first floor features a kitchen, living room, a lovely balcony, and a guest bathroom. The common area is only shared with me. You will sleep on the second floor, with your private room, private bathroom, and private balcony. 1200 sq ft of space, with lots of natural light. This place would be ideal if you love reading on the balcony and are interested in gardening, given the condo has 3 balconies.
- Features: In-unit laundry. Full kitchen appliances (dishwasher, microwave, etc.) with granite countertops. Hardwood flooring first floor, tile for the bathroom, and carpet for the stairs and second-floor rooms.
- Utilities: the landlord pays for water and HOA. You share electricity, wifi, gas, sewage, and garbage fees with me. No A/C, space heaters in place to fight cold.
- Pets: cats and small dogs are welcome, with a $500 deposit. If you have a bigger dog I am fine with it, but any pet can only be permitted with the landlord’s consent. I as your roommate love dogs and cats, and I don’t own a pet, so I have no issue with your pet as long as it is well-trained and relatively quiet.
- No smoking policy. Guests such as friends and family are permitted so long as you communicate with me in advance

About me: passionate about cooking and hiking, very outgoing, responsible, and communicative. Would love to room with someone who also likes being friends with roomies and maintaining close relationships.
