Hey y’all, I’m selling my blue Novara Portal Mountain Bike for $250.
Size M (5'4 to 5'10, but you could make it work with a wider height range if you're feeling adventurous)
Specs:
Front suspension w/ ~100 mm travel
Shimano components
Thumb shifters (instead of twist shifters!)
3x8 gears
Thick tires (~2 in)
Rim brakes (w/ option to install disc brakes available)
Front wheel detaches for easy car loading
Excellent blue color!
The bike is pretty sturdy and will last for a long time with minimal care. It will handle anything you throw at it, including mud, curb jumps, flats, and crashes. Novara bikes were made by REI for recreational riders who want a quality bike to go have some fun with on the weekends, and this bike will take you around campus or around the Santa Cruz mountains, whichever you prefer. This was my daily driver until I grew out of it, it's been kept inside most of the time, and aside from a few paint chips, it's good as new.
