You can start using the AC right away. It’s stored in its original box in the garage. You attach the vent, plug it in and turn it on for instant low-noise portable cooling. AC has wheels for easily moving between rooms.
It was sufficient to cool our 800 sqft unit and was a lifesaver during a heat wave. We moved to a house with ac so it was used for a week only and been in storage since.
The foam needs to be glued again to the window kit (see picture) but it doesn’t affect the functionality at all. The gluing can be done easily, or you can use it without the foam.
