We are looking to fill our third bedroom in a lovely, spacious home right next to Mitchell Park in Palo Alto. It's located in a quiet, safe, residential area, one block from a bike path that takes you directly to downtown Palo Alto or Stanford University in around 10 minutes by car and about 20-25 minutes on bike. We are also a 10 minute walk from Charleston Shopping Center which features Peet's Coffee & Tea, Piazza's Market, Pet Food Express, Rick's Ice Cream, and more.
Our house has a large backyard/front yard (maintained by a gardener on a weekly basis) which have orange, lemon, and plum trees, in addition to a deck+patio. We have a garage for additional storage, in-house laundry and dryer, and central heating. The house has a well-equipped shared kitchen with a gas range, dining room, and living room. House is maintained by Whitley Property Management. The bathroom is shared (sinks + toilet + shower + bathtub) and there is a linen closet for more storage as well.
We have a medium-sized driveway (there is room for one more car), there is ample street parking, and no street parking restrictions. The back patio has shade + table + chairs and there is a garden bed available, should you be interested in growing vegetables.
Your future roommates: Both are male Stanford researchers who spend most of their days on campus at work.
The place is great somebody who likes their own peace and quiet.
The available room is 13x12ft, unfurnished, with a closet, and two patio doors that open to a deck into the backyard. Month-to-month lease.
Room cost: $1500 per month
Utilities + internet: ~$160-200 per month (depending on the season)
We would very much prefer that the person renting out the room would rent it out for at least around 9 months or longer.
