One master bedroom available for rent in our friendly Palo Alto home starting December 1st, 2024. Our home is large, and all common areas are shared: full kitchen, dining room, living room, front yard, backyard + bike shed, and washer/dryer. All utilities are split evenly, including internet, and cleaning service (around $100/mo).
Our house is located 3 miles from Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, and downtown Mountain View. It is easily accessible by bike or car. There are two reserved parking spots and plenty of street parking. This convenient location is only 2-min drive/10-min walk from Safeway, CVS, restaurants and 6-min drive from Cal Ave caltrain station.
We are a mixed bunch of young professionals (M&F, mid-to-late 20s) working at Stanford, Google, and USGS. Every now and then, we play tennis, board games, watch movies, hike, go up to Tahoe, go out, and other fun activities.
You would be taking over the current lease that ends on June 30 2025, and preferably signing to the next lease. Some of us have lived here for a few years now and we try to maintain a strong community.
The rent for the room is $1663. The room is a master bedroom with a connecting private bathroom and large closet. The room has enough space for a bed, sofa, desk, and space to do yoga. Large windows allow abundant sunlight in while providing views of outdoor foliage. The current tenant can pass the furniture on to you at a standard price.
