China trip to Shijiazhuang, Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai;
Open to three Stanford matriculated students;
Compensation for air and lodge expenses;

Detail Plan:
● 12/28 Arrival
○ First day we take it slow, just check into the hotel get some good rest, and be ready for the busy schedule ahead!
● 12/29 Day in Shijiazhuang
○ Morning: We’ll visit a couple of museums and tourist attractions before we make our way to the host school in the afternoon.
○ Afternoon: Arrive at the host school get a tour of the school and meet the teachers and students
○ Night: A welcome ceremony will be conducted and everyone will have a chance to talk to each other and share their life experiences, and hopefully make some friends along the way
● 12/30 Day in Beijing
○ Morning: Take China’s signature high-speed train to Beijing
○ Rest of the Day: We’ll visit the iconic tourist attractions including the Great Wall of China, and/or Forbidden City, and get a view of the deep history behind China’s Capital.
○ Night: Chance to explore the city and have fun!
● 12/31 Beijing - Xi’An
○ Morning: After exploring the capital of China, we will once again take the high-speed train to make our way to Xi’An, home to many of China’s most famous archaeological sites
● 12/31 - 1/1 Days in Xi’an
○ Daytime: Home of the burial site of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, we will venture to the tomb of Emperor Qin and the terracotta warriors and get a good look at the ancient city walls encasing this historical site.
○ Nighttime: These will be free times for students to explore the city and eat delicious food along the streets of the city.
● 1/2 - 1/4 Days in Shanghai
○ Last but not least Shanghai, China’s most prosperous city. We will see some of the tallest skyscrapers in China as well as some of the prettiest nighttime views of a city in the world in the Pudong district.
○ We will give students more free time to experience the numerous forms of entertainment that come with each city and end our trip with a few unforgettable nights in Shanghai.
