Hi! I'm subleasing my master bedroom with private bath in our three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment while I'm away for the holidays. The Avalon apartment is located within walking distance from downtown Mountain View and the Caltrain station and is generally an excellent place to live.

Full photos of the room and the apartment can all be viewed here: https://1drv.ms/f/c/21bd43ec596f3410/EgcLYCb1iS9MtRY8QPvZC7MBgiZntblRzD3oqVheunf9DQ?e=1kdI1G

The dates are flexible, but it should be available from November 26th to late January, and possibly later. If you are only interested in a narrow range, that's ok, but it will depend on my ability to find people for the other dates that work for yours.

Costs:
* Base Rent: 1500/month or 49.18/day
* Utilities + internet: ~$87/month/person (~$260 across 3 people)

About the room:
The room is a large 10'x13'+ space with a queen-size foam bed, two desks, chairs, and computer monitors you're welcome to use. It has a sliding window with views of trees, bushes, and the morning sun. The room has baseboard heating, but I'd strongly recommend a space heater instead. The private master bathroom has plenty of counter space for all the cosmetics and cleansers you could ever want. There will be limited storage space in the room as most of my things will be taking up most of those options, but we do have space in the storage room accessible from the porch.

You'll be sharing the large apartment with a female Stanford researcher who is quiet, clean, friendly + respectful of personal space, loves her cat, and enjoys Legos and learning piano; as well as a female recent Stanford MS graduate. They're both really kind and understanding! They'd prefer a female roommate, but would be open to another guy if they were very nice and understanding.

About YOU:
Nice, friendly, respectful, communicative, non-smoking, and reasonably quiet (complex's quiet hours are from 10pm-8am, but we try not to disturb neighbors, etc.), OK with a single cat in the apartment, not a big party hoster (occasional small tasteful evening affairs are fine).
And for everyone's health and safety, please be vaccinated and boosted, and continue to be COVID cautious. If you get sick, we would like you to be okay with spending your time at home in your room with the door closed when not cooking (masked) or using the bathroom. We also ask that you not use any Minoxidil-containing products as it is lethal to cats.

Apartment:
* In-unit washer & dryer
* Dishwasher / Fridge
* Private balcony
* 2nd floor apartment
* Full kitchen, complete living room, separate dining area
* Air conditioning (wall unit) / baseboard heat (though we rarely need either)
* Yamaha P115B digital piano with weighted keys (and a headphone jack, don't worry!)

Community:
* Great service and maintenance, responsive owners
* Amazon locker for all your packages to keep them safe (though I've never seen a package stolen even when the lockers are full)
* Fitness center
* Really pretty lush grounds
* Well-reviewed by tenants
* Easy & free parking
* Close proximity to: downtown Mountain View (food, events, an absurd amount of boba, & Caltrain), Google campus, San Antonio shopping center (groceries [Safeway/Trader Joe's/Walmart/Target], theater), several parks (and a skate park)
* Safe area
* Free Mountain View shuttle
* Nice pool & fountain
* Patio & barbecue area
* Community events and contests
* Dog park + lots of dog friends in the complex (and 2 neighborhood cats that are pretty dope)
* About a 15 minute drive to Stanford

More photos of the apartment complex and amenities are available at their website (just click "View Gallery" or the big pool photo itself): https://www.avaloncommunities.com/california/mountain-view-apartments/avalon-mountain-view
