Do you need someone to finish out the last few months of your lease?

I'm a recent Stanford grad (PhD) looking for a short-term lease/sublet on an apartment in the South Bay starting early December. My dates are flexible. I would prefer not to have roommates, but at least need a private room and bathroom. My budget is ~$2000/month.
