Private room & bathroom in Palo Alto: $1675 (in 2-bdrm female apartment)
I’m moving, so I sadly have to leave my flat in early March! The apartment features two rooms, each with a private bathroom. The complex is small and has two floors; our apartment is on the top floor with a balcony and quiet neighbours.
Rent: $1,675 + internet, electricity, and gas. Landlord covers water!
Location: It’s in a fantastic location—just a 5-minute walk to California Ave markets and the train station, and only a short walk to Stanford. The local bus stop is ~4 minutes away (22, 522, research park and shopping express shuttles). It takes me about ~12 minutes to bike to my office at the Stanford oval.
Current roommate: You’ll be sharing the apartment with a kind and easygoing 24-year-old female working in marine tech (she’s really clever). We’ve really made this place a home, so she’s looking for someone who takes pride in their space. We love to unwind with some guilty pleasure TV (think Love Island), explore thrift stores, and occasionally work from cafes. She’s also a big fan of Zareen’s.
Please note this is not a party flat and smoking is not allowed. We’re looking for a laid back and house-proud female in a similar age bracket to take my room.
A huge preference if you can purchase my furniture too (this will be going for cheap!). As part of the standard lease process, you’ll also be required to provide references and pay a security deposit ($1000).
