Hello! I am looking for a roommate to join me in my current apartment. My present roommate and I have been living here for just over 3 years - the room has become available as they are moving back to Europe at the end of February.

Potential move in date: early March

Apartment details:
- Located along University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto; 10-15 mins walk to the shopping district of the street; 20 mins walk to Wholefoods; 10-15 mins cycle to campus
- Easy access to the freeway
- Swimming pool
- Balcony
- Apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom (the one that you would be leasing) has an ensuite bathroom and is larger than the second bedroom
- Total rent is $3600, for the bedroom that you would be leasing it is $1900/month; the total rental price for the apartment includes garbage collection and water
- The remaining utilities (e.g., electric and wi-fi) come to ~$120/month in total (so ~$60/person/month)
- The apartment has a dishwasher and there is a coin operated laundry facility in the apartment complex (2 washing machines; 2 dryers; $1.50/usage)
- 2 parking spots (1 is already taken) in a secure basement parking garage

Current roommate details:
- Stanford postdoc (3 years)
- British/Greek

Additional information:
- Current roommate will also be looking to sell their queen size bed frame, mattress and drawers (all Ikea)
