A lovely $1130 bedroom in a charming big house in midtown Palo Alto home starting March 1st, 2025. Our home is large, and all common areas are shared: full kitchen, dining room, living room, front yard, backyard + bike shed, and washer/dryer. All utilities are split evenly, including internet, and cleaning service (around $100/mo).
We are 5 young mid-to-late 20s professionals working at Stanford, Google, a law firm, and an environmental non-profit. Every now and then, we play board games, watch movies, hike, go up to Tahoe, and other fun activities. There is ample shared space, laundry in units, free street parking, backyard gardens, etc. We have a shared room that is often used as a yoga studio and guest room. We even have a doorman (Chucho, 10 pound tiny dog).
Our house is located 3 miles from Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, and downtown Mountain View. It is easily accessible by bike or car. It is only 2-min drive/10-min walk from Safeway, CVS, restaurants and 6-min drive from Cal Ave caltrain station. There are two reserved parking spots and plenty of street parking. You would be taking over the current lease that ends on June 30 2025, and preferably signing to the next lease. Some of us have lived here for a few years now and we try to maintain a strong community.

- Move-in cost: rent + 1 mo rent as security deposit
