The space on offer consists of a large room with a personal bathroom including a spacious walk in shower, an atrium, and three large windows. Preferred move-in starting any time in April.
The lease ends July 31st, without a lease renewal available. Anyone looking to occupy for the full duration is preferred. Utilities are not included in the price of the room, adding an additional ~140 per month. The room comes unfurnished.
This is a house located in a residential neighborhood inside of Palo Alto with 6 bedrooms (5 other roommates), 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, laundry room, marble-floored ballroom, garden, large yard, and a 40ft pool. It’s an easy 3 mile bike ride or 10min car ride to Stanford campus, a couple of miles from two Caltrain stations, and is close to either the 280 or 101 for a work commute.
The house is shared with 5 other roommates with a variety of jobs. Our place has a respectful, enriching, and comfortable atmosphere and we are looking for a roommate with a similar outlook. All roommates are professionals in our 20s with unique interests. We enjoy the outdoors, hanging out, barbecues, and the occasional pool party. Everyone is encouraged to hang out whenever they want but is more than welcome to just relax in their own space at any time; the large house and common areas make that super easy.

R: when not crushing it on the ice or pondering the human condition, I enjoy bringing reality tv and cheering for the rangers.
K: You can find me shredding in Tahoe, chilling by the pool, riding horses, or having a beer with the roomies.
A: I’m a chemical engineering PhD student. When I’m not falling off my bike, I love playing tennis, running, swimming, and biking around the Bay.
T: I enjoy making homemade ice cream for the house, bringing healthy competition to house sports (Spikeball and Horse). I keep my housemates lightly informed about sports and sports adjacent happenings.
