Cross Step Waltz – Spring Mini-Series

Step into spring with grace and joy in our Cross Step Waltz Mini-Series, a three-week dance journey open to all levels—no partner or experience needed. Held Wednesday evenings at the beautiful Arrillaga Family Recreation Center in Menlo Park, this beginner-friendly series blends elegant waltz movements with flowing musicality and welcoming community. Join us for Foundations I, Foundations II, or both, and experience the art of partner dance in a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere.

Your Teachers – Both Stanford Grads

Karn Verma
Founder of Feeling Flow, Karn brings a unique blend of engineering precision and meditative presence to his teaching. A Stanford alum, he’s taught at venues across the Bay Area—including Stanford’s Bechtel Center, Friday Night Waltz, and the JCC in Palo Alto—and leads workshops for Stanford and MIT alumni. Since 2017, Karn has made social dance approachable, hosting classes and community events through Tea & Tango. More about Karn →

Rachel Grant
Rachel fell in love with dance in 2018 after attending a free class before Stanford’s Viennese Ball. Since then, she’s gone from beginner to performer, bringing warmth, curiosity, and encouragement into every class. A fellow Stanford grad, Rachel is always up for sharing a biology fun fact, a bit of poetry, or strength training tips—especially on the dance floor. More about the Viennese Ball →
