My wife and I are relocating to the area for my medical residency at Stanford and are looking for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental starting June 1st. We are aiming for ~$3800 or less per month for rent, with a preference for a house or townhouse, though we’re open to apartments or condos. Ideally, we’re hoping for a unit with in-unit laundry.
We’re considering locations within a 30-minute biking distance or a 15-20 minute drive from Stanford, particularly in the areas of Redwood City, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, and Menlo Park. We’d love to find a rental in a quieter part of these neighborhoods.
We have over 10 years of rental experience in community housing and are excellent communicators and reliable renters. We are proactive about addressing maintenance issues and are also handy when it comes to small repairs. We take pride in being very clean, organized, and leading a quiet, non-raucous lifestyle (no drugs or late-night parties). Above all, we value being good and considerate neighbors—friendly and helpful when needed, but also respectful of privacy.
