Private bedroom for 1,200 USD/month (+utils) in a safe area in East Palo Alto, in a spacious, sunlit house. We're 3 vegetarians (F,F,M) and two cats, and are looking for one more human (vegetarian/vegan preferred!)
We're all working professionals/student and love to have an open, respectful community that can be a home sanctuary for all of us.
The house is huge and the first floor includes the following: living room with fireplace (and numerous house plants ), open kitchen, half bathroom, garage, backyard, garden, and office space. All the rooms and a dryer/washer are on the first floor. The house has a driveway with ample storage space and room for 2 cars, and there is always street parking available in front as well. Joel Davis Park is at the end of the street and has a green space and outdoor workout area. Within a 2 min drive/10 min walk is a Cardenas market, Starbucks, Home Depot, and Ikea. Stanford campus is a 15 min drive and easily bikeable. Access to Highway 101 is seamless and about a 45 minute drive to San Francisco.
The available room (9.75 x 10.25 feet; closet 2 x 9.75) has a large window oriented towards East, and is facing the neighboring house (I haven't really seen anyone directly there, though). The bathroom is shared, and has a bathtub combined with a shower, and is quite spacious too.
We are looking for responsible, respectful, and friendly roommates who are committed to a long-term, consistent housing agreement (6 months-1year atleast), that will be respectful and reliable with the cats (closing doors etc).
