Hello folks!
I'm looking for a subletter for the summer for my lovely little second floor walk-up treehouse/cabin-style apartment in Menlo Park. It's a 5 minute drive from campus, or you could bike over in about 10 minutes with a safe neighborhood route. The address is 2043 Sterling Ave.
It's $1900/month which includes utilities and water, and you can park across the street if you have a car.
Would be best if someone could rent all three months.
It's a beautiful sun filled in-law style apartment with a separate entrance that I rent from the owners who live downstairs. It's private and calm and I've loved living here.
Features:
skylights
queen size bed (I can leave you sheets and towels to use if you need)
Cubbies and storage for clothes and belongings
woodstove (although you probably won't need to light a fire over the summer)
Ikea couch, which converts into a pull out bed for guests
airfryer/toaster oven, electric countertop hotplate, microwave oven, full size fridge
whole-house fan in the roof (when it cools down in the evening, you just open the windows and the fan will pull cool air in and make the house nice and comfy)
shower (no bathtub)
fold away desk.
cute windowsill
nice garden and redwood tree views out the windows.
Quirks:
doesn't have a full size stove/oven (but the countertop toaster oven and stove have worked fine for me)
I never installed wifi, since I just use my phone.
no in-unit laundry (I drive to a laundromat on El Camino to wash my clothes which has worked fine)
