My wife and I are looking for a studio or 1 bedroom for the summer and it does not need to be near stanford - it can be anything within 30 minutes of san jose. I am a student at Stanford Law School and my wife is a Special Education Teacher in East Palo Alto. We will keep the space very clean and tidy. We do not plan to unpack all our stuff in the apartment and I will not be in California for about a month in the summer so it will just be my wife.
