I love working with young people, drawing the best out of them by encouraging them to be specific and know their passions while offering constructive criticism in a positive manner.

I have worked for decades with diverse students and am familiar with a wide range of academic institutions across the country. Finding the right fit is the most important part of the college application process.

I hold a BA in Anthropology from Stanford (second area of study in English) and MA in Higher Education from Columbia. My experiences include working as an ESL teacher, academic editor, essay consultant, TA consultant at UCSD, and English composition professor at Menlo College. I have been a volunteer interviewer for prospective Stanford students (and was even hired to be an admissions reader but declined due to personal circumstances.) I was also a volunteer at a teen center in Ann Arbor, MI for a fiction writing class.

Also a fiction writer (MFA from Warren Wilson) and classical musician, I believe each student has a unique narrative to share. I work remotely, and look forward to working with your child!
