Hello! We’re looking for a friendly roommate to join us in our cozy apartment in Menlo Park!
Rent: $1489 + utilities (Water is included in rent price. Internet; power; heating approx. $40/month in summer and around double during winter, depending on heater use).
Available for Move In: August 1st, 2025.
Security Deposit: 1267$ (Zelle is the preferred method, which will be paid to the person leaving)
Rental Period: Ideally 1 year but will consider shorter periods on a case-by-case basis.
The House
We have an opening in our 3-bedroom apartment located in Downtown Menlo Park. Our location is ideal: we're a 5-minute walk from Santa Cruz Ave, near numerous bars and cafes and several grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Draeger’s) and 10 minutes bike from campus.
Common areas are spacious and bright - living, dining, and kitchen. We also have a nice and sunny balcony. We have a washer in the apartment and there is a coin-op laundry in the complex. Parking is included in the price of rent - one space in the carport, which is a covered spot but open. We also have a small storage area in the garage, if needed.
The master bedroom comes unfurnished as per lease terms. However, we are offering the option to purchase the existing furniture, providing a hassle-free and convenient way to furnish your new room. The room has an attached private bathroom.

We are two Postdocs from Stanford. We are extroverted and easy-going people, friendly, responsible, and clean. We are looking for someone who shares the same vibe. We have our own lives, but we are also friends and enjoy catching up from time to time. We are looking for a like-minded, conscientious, clean, and tidy roommate. And yes! You can cook! We love cooking!
