Over the past few months, I’ve been using purified water (Good & Gather brand from Target) for cleaning and other purposes that require clean water. As a result, I’ve gradually accumulated around 400 empty 500ml bottles.
Now I’m hoping to give them away to anyone who might need them — or, ideally, find someone who regularly recycles bottles for California CRV refunds. Unfortunately, there’s no convenient recycling center near Stanford, and I don’t have the means to transport them myself.
If you:
Reuse bottles for crafts, storage, or a project
Collect CRV bottles for refund or know someone who does
Are part of a sustainability group or recycling initiative on campus
I’d love to connect and hand them over. I'm happy to give them away for free, and I’m also open to teaming up if you know a way to transport them or get them properly recycled.
Let me know if you're interested or if you have any leads. I'd really appreciate the help, and hopefully this can go toward something useful or environmentally friendly
Thanks so much!
