Sublet a room, July and August
We are going on summer break to Europe, and so our beautiful Rains apartment can become your summer refuge in Stanford. It has two rooms, both with full-size beds, desks, closet and so forth. One room is already taken, the other room is available July 7th - August 31st.
You do not have to sublet the entire period. We are quite proud of our apartment: it has a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, oven, a bunch of spices and whatever else you’ll need for cooking. We have art on the walls (see pics!) and some plants that we politely ask you to water occasionally.
About the area: Rains is the best part of graduate housing, with small courtyards that are perfect for reading in the sun and playing beach volley. It is quiet (especially our apartment), cute, and very good at keeping out the heat.
Rent is $1556/month, equivalent to $52/day. Includes water, electricity, wifi, you name it. If you want to borrow my bike (useful for getting around campus), then that can be accommodated as well. I do ask for an upfront deposit of two week’s rent at the time of signing the sublet agreement.
Interested? Shoot me an email at mleva@stanford.edu. Please say:
- A bit about who you are and what you’re doing in Stanford for the summer
- Whether you can keep plants alive
- What dates you’d like to sublet.
